Foys Lake, Chittagong

Foys lake is an outstanding tourist spot. This lake is situated in Chittagong district. It will take not more than 20 minutes to go to Foys lake from the center of the Chittagong city. Tourists can enjoy whole day there with a very reasonable cost. You can visit parks, water kingdom and you can also enjoy boating on the lake.

Hilly Areas of Rangamati

Rangamati is the South eastern part of Bangladesh, and it is one of the parts of Chittagong hill tracts. On the northern part it is bounded with India's Tripura State. Hilly tracts attracts people and thousands of people come here every year to see the beauty of nature and hilly areas. In a word it can be said that it is the land of green.

Paharpur Buddha Vihara

In the ancient time Buddhist Vihara was the most important link in between Southeast Asia and India. Buddhism entered from India due to cultural exchange and it was 5th century. After that it increased gradually. Pala Dynasty was witnessed in the 8th century and it continued until 12th century. The first king was Gopala. All these ended but you can still now find this place, it has become a great tourist spot. 

The Shundarbans

Shundarbans is the largest mangrove forest of the world. Most of the people know about the this forest more or less. This is not only a forest but also a home land of rare trees and animals. Total area of this forest is not less than 38500 sq km.One third of this area is covered with water. This forest shelters approximately 400 Royal Bengal Tigers, and 30000 deer. There are over 120 species of fish in the river. This forest is also a homeland of nearly 260 species of birds.

 

 

Cox's Bazar

Cox's Bazar sea beach is the world's largest sea beach having length of 120 km. It got its name after the name of Lieutenant Cox. He died here in the year 1798. Tourist's can enjoy delightful seafood here in Cox's Bazar. Sunrise and sunset both can be observed here. You must be amused to see the reddish sun here.

Saint Martin Bangladesh

Saint Martin is the most popular tourist spot in Bangladesh. It is a small island with greenish beauty  all around. Visitors can enjoy the real beauty of sunset here. It is not so far from Cox's Bazar Sea Beach. Hope the tourists of Cox's Bazar Sea Beach must not forget to go to Saint Martin Island. 

Jaflong Sylhet

Jaflong is the boarder area of Sylhet zone. It is 60 km far from the main town of Sylhet. It takes not more than 2 hours from main town. This place is famous for stone breaking mills. The nearby river is  the Mari which is coming from Indian Himalayas. Specialty of this river is it's water looks like transparent glass. Visitors can enjoy boating in this river.
